President Biden’s energy shutdown raised gas prices at the pump $1+/gallon — or, two-cents per gallon per day in the 50 days he’s been in office as he plans to give his first address to the nation later tonight.
In some areas, gas price has gone up over $1 dollar, depending on the grade of octane. Price per gallon may vary 20 cents or more in the same area.
At one central-midwest Marathon station, gas prices 3/10/21: $2.699 , $2.799, $3.29 / gallon for Octane 87, 89, and 92. Prices have jumped up about $1 per gallon in response to Pres. Biden’s draconian energy policies.
Biden has shut down the keystone pipeline and clamped off essential energy production in the USA, returning control of the global oil market to OPEC centered around the whims of the Saudi Arabian fiefdom.
Pennsylvania and Texas are especially hard hit, losing tens of thousands of jobs in the oil sector, perhaps hundreds of thousands.
The Office of Congressional Budget estimated in February that 4.5 million jobs have been lost with Biden’s first 40 Executive Orders rolling back prosperity brought by former President Trump.
Meanwhile, the military junta summoned by Sen. Nanny Pelosi, still has the Capitol building complex fenced off to protect the new regime and ensure an opaque Government process.
Sen. Mitch McConnell complained the military-zone fence is obstructing access to his constituents when there is no credible threat to the Capitol.
