Former UK basketball player, Terrence Clarke, was killed when he struck another vehicle and bounced into a pole and then a wall.
Clarke was allegedly speeding at the time of his accident.
Nobody else was injured.
Clarke was a native of Boston, Massachusetts.
He only had eight games at University of Kentucky due to an injury; but, was supposed to become a first-round pick in the forthcoming NBA draft.
Kentucky Coach Calipari is on the way to California to meet Clarke’s family in response to the tragedy.
