Miami Dade Building Disintegrated in likely Sinking Collapse: 150+ Dead
Lkely to Happen in Kentucky, Ripe with Sinkholes
Estimated death toll updated 6/25/21 to over 150 dead or missing.
Collapse of a residential apartment complex in Miami-Dade area has the appearance of a major bomb, with rebarb ripped out of concrete slabs that reinforce the building that was totally up to code.
However, there are more hints that the building was sinking over time, like the leaning tower of Pisa.
This story is especially relevant to Kentucky because one major geological problem here is sinkholes.
In fact, the I-75 bridge between Fayette and Madison Counties (Lexington and Richmond) is a hotspot for sinkholes.
Years ago, the Bowling Green National Corvette Museum lost several vehicles into a sinkhole.
