COMMENTARY: Sen. Paul’s Townhall Meetings are Mere Publicity Stunts
Would a true Conservative believer in the Constitution censor his constituents in a public forum? NOT !
Senator Rand Paul’s telephonic townhall meeting on 6/23/21 censored questions his handlers considered politically too HOT to TOUCH. One participant reported to JK a question they posed about “rule of law” asking why Dr. Anthony Fauci was not prosecuted for perjury after Paul publicly stated Fauci was lying. Sen. Paul’s townhall call screener told the caller they were next; but, passed over them for more neutral questions. Sen. Paul’s handlers obstructed the question to obfuscate the public and smother real public participation, perhaps in violation of the caller’s free speech right in what turned out to be a staged (fake) public assembly orchestrated by the senator. The surprise is that Sen. Paul exposed Dr. Fauci’s fraudulent testimony in the Senate; but, now Paul cowardly retreats from pursuing the remedies of perjury and Fauci’s misuse of public funds to create a lethal virus – a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY indictable by the World Court. Sen. Paul’s call screener told the caller that their question would be passed to the handlers; affirmed that they were the next in line to ask Sen. Paul a question; and then summarily passed over the caller’s question. The avant-guarde (but ‘code pink RINO’) senator was brutally beaten in 2017 by Dr. Rene Boucher (his neighbor and fellow physician) in Bowling Green, Kentucky, sustaining life threatening injuries. Sen. Paul’s gerrymandering of questions would not likely be a violation of the Kentucky Open Meetings Act because his townhall meetings are obviously publicity stunts, not meetings obligated by state or federal statute. There is also a conflict of law between federal and state requirements for such stunt ‘meetings.’ But, for true Mark Levin conservatives, Sen. Paul’s censorship of participants makes him a ‘code pink RINO.’ A FAKE conservative. _______ Sources consulted: Unnamed participant in Paul’s telephonic townhall meeting. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/nation/2020/07/28/rand-paul-attacker-tackle-neighbor-sentence/112537336/
