Gov. Beshear’s State of Emergency Ends in Thirty Days

Gas Price Increase

Due to Rogue Biden’s Policies

Democrat Green New Deal in Action

Frankfort, Ky. 6/08/22 COMMENTARY

Gov. Beshear (D) signed an Executive Order declaring State of Emergency due to increase in gas prices “to prevent price gauging.”

Raising prices due to increased costs is outside the scope of the price gauging definition in the statute regarding emergencies.

Beshear’s emergency, created by Rogue Biden (D) Democrat Party policies against using domestic gas resources, ends in 30 days thanks to the Republican override of his veto of the bill limiting his power to declare emergencies.

Beshear sued the legislature to obstruct enforcement of the new law; but, lost in a truly scandalous proceeding that actually constituted solid a reason to convict Beshear of the impeachment papers filed by several business owners adversely affected by Beshear’s Covid emergency.

The cowardly Republican majority (RINOs, all) did not make the law on emergency declarations restricted enough because it should have limited emergencies to seven days, not thirty, without permission from the legislature.

  1. When the Ky Supreme Court ended Andy Beshear’s lock-down Covid emergency by deciding that the state legislature had the authority to reduce legislatively-bestowed power of the Governor, Beshear threw a tantrum like a spoiled brat who demanded his power back. Beshear complained that the end of the Covid emergency would also end expanded SNAP (food stamp) awards to families. However he has done nothing to secure such expanded benefits during the month of his new “gas price emergency” which proves he wants to be a little dictator – its all about power over someone else. State Rep Damon Thayer (R) of Georgetown said Beshear could get expanded SNAP benefits secured through his Cabinet for Health and Human Services; but, Beshear has done nothing to do so, proving again it is not about helping anyone but rather about securing dictatorial power over the people.
