Kentucky May Survive First Radiation Wave in Nuclear Fallout, But Get Prepared NOW

Projected Fallout Map Skip KY

But Time is Against Us

Fallout Will Blanket Nation

According to a map published by Scientific American, Kentucky could skip first-hour fallout; but, eventually the entire nation would be enveloped in deadly radiation.

Sage Editor attempted to get the city of Lexington to include EMPs (Electro Magnetic Pulse) in the city’s emergency plans well before Covid; but, the effort fell on deaf ears.

City officials retorted “well the federal government is not doing anything so we’re not.” Some leadership that is. In fact, former House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, brought the issue of EMPs to the floor in 2011. Listen up Mayor Gorton! Gov. Beshear! It’s your watch now.

A promise to keep editor notified of the biennial updates also went nowhere, as no further communications with us were received from Lexington officials.

USA Citizens Not Making Minimal Emergency Preparations

The vast majority of residents have little or no emergency preparations, let alone the three-day supply of food, pet food, water, meds, and hygiene products suggested by the Government.

As previous natural disasters have shown us many times, we ought to have at least a 30-day supply of all the above materials; and, don’t forget your pets’ needs.

Have alternative hygiene products when there are short supplies of toilet paper. A portable “bidet” is a bottle with a mini shower head attached that permits cleaning oneself even better than with toilet paper. Relatively few homes have even one.

Emergency water supply means one-gallon per person per day. Do you have a way to store that much water for a 30-day period?

If officials announced a major emergency like nuclear bomb, would you have a plan to leave work, go home, draw down a 30-day supply of water and a way to store that much water?

Have you thought about purchasing: 1) a portable water filtration system that can make muddy water into clean drinking water like a Berkey water filtration unit; 2) a bath-tub water storage unit that can hold 20-30 gallons of water and is deployable in minutes? Or six five-gallon water bottles that could sustain one person for 30-days?

Purchase over-the-counter “potassium iodide” to protect you in case of nuclear fallout; you’ll also need one geiger counter, and a personal radiation detection badge (dosimeter) for each person in your home. These can be bought for less than $100 all total.

Also, download and print paper copy of the FDA’s advice on how to use “potassium iodide,” because if a nuclear event happens, you may not have access to internet. Put important papers in an emergency box with other supplies.

Keys to Being Prepared include a THIRTY-DAY minimum supply of the following:

  • Water – see water storage devices and Berkey water filtration in DuckDuckGo.com searches.
  • Food – dry rice and beans can last up to or past seven years. Canned goods are also great resources. Ensure you have can-openers, magnesium fire-starters, cooking methods (heat source like ‘heat in a can,’ charcoal, a grill, etc.).
  • Meds – prudent preparation includes a one-year supply; see JaseMedical.com
  • Hygeine Products – get a portable bidet for each family member and a supply of toilet paper (bidet will reduce the amount of TP you’ll use by 1/2 to 2/3).
  • PET FOODS AND MEDS!!! Don’t leave your babies behind!
  • Family bible and have an extra copy in your cars, basement, etc.
  • Phones may not work, get a ham radio and license to use as soon as possible; if that’s not feasible, at least get a crank-up / solar powered AM/FM radio with weather band on it from CCRANE.com or other supplier. Price around, even big box stores sell the C-crane brand.
  • Alcohol should also be stocked up. The most versatile form is Vodka which can be diluted with water to make the same concentration as any type of beer, without the flavor. For example, an 80 proof Vodka is 40% alcohol. One-ounce contains 40 % ethanol (drinking alcohol) which mixed with nine ounces of water makes a 4% alcoholic beverage similar to many beers. For flavor add herbs like Rosemary, thyme, etc. Even bitters like dandelion leaves could help flavor it. Or, go the “cocktail” route and add lime juice, turmeric, stevia, etc. Use your imagination, after all, this is nuclear-mageddon. Don’t drink so much that others are able to over-power you and seize all your goodies! Don’t be a dope. And bye-the-way, don’t blab to anyone how prepared you are because remember that Twilight Zone episode where neighbors came to break-into the physician’s nuclear bunker? WELL! Loose lips sink ships.
  • Tents, blankets, extra clothing, etc. General camping items can still be useful in a home without power.
  • Power-generator with two sources of fuel: solar and propane (get enough tanks up to whatever amount the law allows) – dual power- are preferred; other sources, not so much. Remember, diesel vehicles can be run on vegetable oil from the supermarket but first check with your mechanic to ensure no additional preparation is required to use vegetable oil in your gas tank; you may need to drain the tank or have a duel tank source installed.

Some “bug out” “preppers” prefer to keep a one-year supply of the above items which is actually not impossible to do.

Jase Medical dot com can help you get medical scripts for a one-year supply. The other items listed above are very readily available; but, will become in-demand commodity shortages during a disaster.

Nuclear Radiation Disaster

America is virtually completely unprepared for nuclear fallout because we have no sufficient bomb shelters to house any population size from small to large.

Even so-called “bomb-shelters” from the 1960s were actually insufficient to protect citizens.

Government officials have safe places to go including large underground bunkers located in Indiana, Colorado;* and, under the White House as well as other undisclosed locations.

Even in our time of heightened nuclear war risks, our incompetent local, state, and federal governments have failed to stock-pile necessary supplies like potassium iodide to help overcome nuclear radiation sickness.

According to all conservative pundits, subversive seditious insurrection is being plotted against We The People by a corrupt deep state and Democrat politicians like Rogue Obama (unfroze $1.7 billion of Iran’s assets and delivered it in cash to the criminal regime there) and Rogue Biden (unfroze $6 billion followed by $10 billion of Iran assets).

Iran’s leader said he does not respect the restrictions on use of those unfrozen assets. Since the funds are fungible, they are already financing the global Hamas terrorism and war against Israel, claim pundits like Mark Levin, Chris Plante, Sean Hannity, Bill Cunningham, Ben Ferguson, Glen Beck, and others.

Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) Disaster

An EMP can result from solar flares (and has) as well as dirty bombs which could be smuggled into America and detonated on public transit systems or in the air on drones.

EMPs can cause polar shifts during which the compass shows erroneous directions for North, South, East, and West due to interference that may also shut down or interfere with the nations emergency broadcast system and short wave radio (ham radio) emergency volunteers.

Yet, cities like Lexington, Kentucky have absolutely nothing in the emergency plan to react nor protect citizens from EMPs nor major nuclear fallout.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky also has no such emergency plans specifically addressing how to protect citizens from nuclear fallout and EMPs.

Do-it-Yourself EMP Protection Plan

Sage Editor, a scientist, has determined that minimal protection from EMPs could be very cost-effective and relatively inexpensive, with proper planning.

The most protected home will be those with aluminum (‘tin’) rooftops, aluminum siding, and aluminum venetian blinds at the windows, making the home a virtual Faraday box.

When your house needs a new roof, get an aluminum roof which may have a lifespan of 50 years, double traditional roofing tile.

Try to have your home renovated with aluminum siding and aluminum venetian blinds.

Such measures may help protect you in a minor EMP, especially your electronic devices like cell phones, computers, microchips, etc.

But, major nuclear fallout dooms all that depending on location of ground-zero (where the bomb hits) and weather events like prevailing wind, rain, etc.

Call local, state, and federal elected officials to support preparedness for EMPs and nuclear radiation. Or, realize that you’re part of the problem of inaction.

  1. The recent slow or insufficient FEMA response to Hurricane Helene for five days or more proves again that in a national emergency, FEMA cannot respond to most people’s needs.

Hurricane Helene made landfall in the Big Bend area of Florida as a Category 4 hurricane on 9/06/24.

Helene caused significant life and property losses in the states she passed through including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama.

FEMA has been criticized as feckless because the massive damage in North Carolina allegedly went completely un-addressed for many days; then Homeland Security Secretary Myorkas admitted his department spent much of its budget relocating and supporting illegal migrants (who were granted Special Immigration Visa [SIV] allegedly for the purpose of election interference) so Big Brother does not have the money nor resources to help real citizens.

The immediate rescue of thousands of North Carolinians came from many private sector benefactors like conservative pundit Glen Beck’s nonprofit called MercuryOne.org. Many victims and conservative talk show hosts allege that FEMA actively obstructed private rescue efforts by refusing private relief helicopters fly zones and landings to deliver supplies (food, water, medicine). See podcasts of: Chris Plante, Mark Levin, Glen Beck, Clyde Lewis, Ben Ferguson, Bill Cunningham, and Sean Hannity.
