“I reintroduced the Federal Reserve Transparency Act or the “Audit the Fed” bill, to prevent the Federal Reserve from concealing vital information on its operations from Congress.
“No institution holds more power over the future of the American economy and the value of our savings than the Federal Reserve. It’s long past time for Congress to stop shirking its duty and hold the Federal Reserve accountable.
“This legislation would require the nonpartisan, independent Government Accountability Office (GAO) to conduct a thorough audit of the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors and reserve banks within one year of the bill’s enactment and to report back to Congress within 90 days of completing the audit.
“Americans deserve to be made aware of the practices of the Federal Reserve, whose decisions can result in high levels of inflation and slow economic growth. It is time the Federal Reserve operates in a manner that is transparent and accountable to the taxpayers.

“Dr. Rand Paul Continues Shedding Light on Dr. Fauci’s Brazen Lies
“This past week, Dr. Fauci was interviewed by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in a closed-door two-day testimony.
“For the past four years, I have been leading the charge in holding Dr. Fauci accountable and bringing truth to the American people regarding COVID-19 masking, vaccines, school and business closures, and the origins of the virus that killed more than a million Americans.
“During his testimony this past week, Dr. Fauci acknowledged that the lab leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory. Dr. Fauci also claimed he “did not recall” pertinent COVID-19 information or conversations more than 100 times.
“During the testimony, Dr. Fauci profusely defended his previous Congressional testimony to me where he stated NIH does not fund gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
“He repeatedly played semantics with the definition of gain-of-function in an attempt to avoid conceding that NIH funded potentially dangerous research in China.
[Fauci] “also testified that he signed off on every foreign and domestic NIAID grant without reviewing the proposals.
“This is only the tip of the iceberg in uncovering the truth. I will continue fighting until all those such as Dr. Fauci are held accountable for COVID-19 policies and dangerous gain-of-function research that likely caused this pandemic.”
